Athletes of the Week

Football: Steve Marley, Prosser

Prosser sophomore rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns as the Mustangs rallied from a 13-0 halftime deficit to defeat Othello 29-19 on Friday.

Volleyball: Rachel Reed, Kennewick

Had 17 kills in Kennewick's five-game win over defending Big Nine district champion Eisenhower on Saturday. Also had 15 kills and 7 digs in loss to Pasco on Thursday.

Cross country: Tommy Puzey, Hermiston

Hermiston senior finished fourth at the South Salem Invitational on Saturday in a time of 15 minutes, 56.09 seconds, leading the Bulldogs boys to the team championship.

Soccer: Amy Danielson, Kennewick

Kennewick sophomore posted shutout victories over Richland and Pasco. In the shootouts, she made the game-winning save vs. the Bombers and two saves vs. the Bulldogs.

Swimming: Amanda Rolph, Hanford

Hanford senior swam a state-qualifying time of 2 minutes, 1.66 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle Thursday in a Mid-Valley League loss to West Valley.
