Cross country: Tommy Puzey, Hermiston Hermiston senior finished fourth at the South Salem Invitational on Saturday in a time of 15 minutes, 56.09 seconds, leading the Bulldogs boys to the team championship. Soccer: Amy Danielson, Kennewick Kennewick sophomore posted shutout victories over Richland and Pasco. In the shootouts, she made the game-winning save vs. the Bombers and two saves vs. the Bulldogs. Swimming: Amanda Rolph, Hanford Hanford senior swam a state-qualifying time of 2 minutes, 1.66 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle Thursday in a Mid-Valley League loss to West Valley.
